I think the decision to let her go was a mistake by Labour, maybe giving her a hard financial penalty would have worked and maybe selling her new flat in Brighton and moving back to her constituency would have been a smart move.
I think if she and Labour had tried they could have got through this, after all we all assume that the conservatives or reform politicians would cheat if they could. That may seem unfair but history has shown that they had their fair share of controversy.
She was such an important part of the Labour party, her background being quite different from most politicians gave Labour supporters the belief that she had a closer understanding to many of their own situations.
The Labour ship is now adrift at sea, with a broken mast drifting towards the jagged rocks of social media with their souls consumed by the conservative sirens and the Reform pirates waiting to pillage the wreckage.
